Roof Decking — structural foundation of the roofing system
Underlayment — secondary moisture-protection layer
Ice & Water Protection — enhanced protection at vulnerable areas where required/appropriate
Drip Edge — protects roof edges and helps direct water
Starter Shingles / Starter Course — proper perimeter sealing and wind protection
Field Roofing Material — architectural, designer, metal, slate, shake, etc.
Flashing — walls, chimneys, valleys and other transitions
Pipe Boots & Roof Penetrations — waterproofing around pipes/other penetrations
Ventilation — intake + exhaust working together
Ridge/Hip Caps — finished protection at hips and ridges
Gutters & Drainage — manages water after it leaves the roof
